In today's work environment, managers need solid "HR 101" training to reduce and mitigate the possibilities of litigation, compliance failures and unlawful actions. HR training for managers can also help reduce turnover and increase retention. 


While training does come with a cost, it's minimal when compared to the cost of turnover. According to SHRM (the Society of Human Resources Management) the cost of turnover is three times the annual salary of the employee who leaves the organization.
